Proudly Ejagham: Let the World Hear Us Loud and Clear
Ejagham Nkub‑wun‑oh,
To every member of EjT and indeed all Ejagham sons and daughters, yes, you, the heartbeat and lifeblood of this EjT, please receive our deepest and most sincere appreciation.
You have carried the phrase “Proudly Ejagham” from a quiet whisper into a bold, unifying identity. You transformed it into a household expression across Ejagham Nation. But in today’s fast‑moving digital world, we must go further. We must ensure that Ejagham is never left behind again. This is why we must be intentional, courageous, and unwavering each time we declare: “Proudly Ejagham.”
From WhatsApp Introductions to a Global Digital Identity
When EjT began, every registered member who joined our WhatsApp community introduced themselves, first through text, then audio, photos, and eventually video. Some stepped forward with confidence; others needed gentle persuasion to perform this digital introduction. And yes, “Proudly Ejagham” stickers could be spotted on cars, on doors, and in corners of our communities, quietly signalling a rising cultural pride.

But all of this lived only within our WhatsApp group, shared among ourselves. The “Proudly Ejagham spirit,” though vibrant, remained local, contained, and limited in reach.
That era is over.
We must expand our digital footprint. We must climb atop the “Oban Hills” and let our voices echo far beyond our borders. Let the world hear us clearly, confidently, and unmistakably:
We are Proudly Ejagham.

A New Digital Dawn for Ejagham Nation
We have already taken the first steps. The introduction videos we launched as YouTube Shorts are gaining views and amplifying Ejagham presence across the globe. The world is beginning to notice us, our faces, our voices, our heritage, our pride.
This is only the beginning.

Now, We Rise Again, Together
We call on every EjT member, and indeed all Ejagham sons and daughters, to reaffirm your identity, your commitment to promoting Ejagham heritage, and your enduring pride in being Ejagham. We invite you to record a short video of yourself in your Ejagham dialect, saluting Ejagham people as you deem fit, and stating, at a minimum:
-
- Your title and name
- Your occupation, business, or profession
- Your community and Ejagham cluster
- And conclude proudly with: “I am Proudly Ejagham.”
These videos will be published on the EjT YouTube channel as a digital monument, a living archive of who we are, where we come from, and the unity that binds us.
Let your voice join the chorus. Let your identity stand tall. Let the world know who we are.
We eagerly await your Proudly Ejagham video.
